Stuff for the "half empty" crowd to read this morning. WSJ heard on the street talks about quality of earnings-no growth at AXP? The leader of the Dow ramp, and the highest priced component in a price weighted index. A stock that blew 10 points today. HR-10, the repeal of Glass-Steagall is delayed over final wording-say it ain't so. The money center bank consortium led by CMB is shut out of restructuring Daewoo, and holding over 5B in paper. Must be why it is up 30% in two weeks. The same day Greenie talks about technology driving productivity gains, we read about Hershey not being able to get a $112 mill. computer distribution system to work. And I can't find kisses for Halloween. Oh well, AOL splits 2/1. Since it is hard to make money on the short side, I will forego my usual morning coffee and sniff glue with my elbow on the buy AOL button. This is a guarenteed winner. Since this is a new experience for me, can someone tell me what kind of glue is best?
