Goutama, Flash growth occurs in both volume and price and so can become immensely profitable for new parts that are not contract price limited.
So AMD may easily quadruple the flash profits from existing facilities. I have heard comment that Dresden is only 15% filled, so a portion could be equipped for flash and would also be behind european tariff barriers. I am not sure how long this flash boom will last...bust/boom/bust cycle has ben changed by the huge demand increase so the next bust may be years away. Good time for the contract speculators(those who agreed last year to buy some flash each month at a contracted price....now they sell spot and rake it in)
