IPVoice.com, Inc. Announces Release of Next-Generation IP Telephony Gateway
Real-Time Billing, Fax-Over-IP and Other Exciting Features Now Available
PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 29, 1999--IPVoice.com(TM) (OTC:BB IPVC.OB) announced today the general release and deployment of its new high-density IP Telephony system the ''SuperConnect'' gateway.
This new gateway platform represents the next level in carrier class high-density, high-performance gateways. The SuperConnect system is being installed in key locations throughout IPVoice.com's network. The new gateway effectively quadruples IPVoice.com's present port-density as well as providing expandability into nearly 1000 ports per gateway.
Additional features of the new SuperConnect System include Sun MicroSystems'(SUNW) Solaris-based platform, Real-time Billing Interface to IPVoice.com worldwide billing servers, Real-Time Fax-Over-IP, SS7 Support and Built-in future support for CompactPCI and higher density hardware architectures.
Commenting on the SuperConnect Gateway, IPVoice.com's co-founder and Vice President Anthony K.
