OT JDSU - Paul, management stated yesterday in the CC that 17% of their sales for the quarter just past were to NT, 22% were to LU -- their 2 biggest customers.

By the way, they also stated that would be ramping up manufacturing capacity 2-3-4 times over the next 12 months or so. Guidance for fiscal 2000 ending in June 2000 is for 80-90% growth for year.

If memory serves, they currently have about 70 product lines and 7,200 employees. One thing they focused on is that they have (with the purchase of Epitaxx) a complete product line now (one-stop shopping for customers). Competitors supply some of this, some of that, so are not as attractive. They are the big fish in their pond, as I understand it.

Oooops, am appearing to be overly prudent with my put hedge this morning.
