( BW)(UT-INVESTAMERICA-INC)(INVT) InvestAmerica Inc. Announces Proposed Reverse Acquisition

PARK CITY, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 29, 1999--InvestAmerica Inc. (OTCBB:INVT) Friday reported that it has entered into an agreement with FiberX, a privately owned company, pursuant to which FiberX may acquire a control position in InvestAmerica. The parties desire to raise capital for the purpose of developing a fiber-optic cable network. Brian Kitts, president and a principal stockholder of the company, stated, "Although the transaction is subject to certain conditions, I believe the acquisition offers a tremendous opportunity for InvestAmerica stockholders." The company intends to disclose specific terms of the proposed transaction next week.
