Terry, i just had an interesting idea...what if the drop in home sales and the rally in the bond are really telling us that the bottom is about to fall out of the economy? like in '29, when things went from hunky-dory to hell in a handbasket in no time at all. it could well be that both households and corporations are finally maxed out with their taking on of debt. in that case, the stock market should begin to realize what's happening pretty soon...note that the dollar is weakening all day already. maybe it means something...
