BrianValentine, I think we should keep in mind that we are studying for increased knowledge and understanding. And although,
Quoting other scripture to support what you believe about the scriptures at hand is important.
I think we should keep in mind that we are not in a debate to prove who's right and who's wrong. And if we don't keep focused on the verses being studied at the time, things could go off into so many different directions, that it could get very confusing to some people. And they would not want to participate anymore.
We are all at different levels?(for lack of a better word), in our Christian walk. Some may still be on baby food, so to speak, and may not be able to digest a 10 course meal. Taking that into consideration. IMO, giving references to back-up scriptures in another post, may be good for those who feel that they would like to elaborate a lot. Some Christians have just started to crawl and are not ready to run yet. Some have not cleared the land yet, for the builders to come in and build a house. And for the sake of these people, I think we should try to stay focused on the chapters and verses at hand. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. Other people may have different opinions, but this is only my opinion.
