I wish to thank you Mr. Haley for stepping up to address this issue with the speed and candor that you did. I would like to inform you that I am a Barramundi share holder, buying into this company sometime ago on the recommendation of my associates who are also shareholders. I find situations like the one Barramundi Gold Ltd. finds itself in right now to be extremely disconcerting, with the short sightedness of some in the company overshadowing excellent drilling results. I'm afraid that I don't personally know Mr. Burban, but my associates who do, feel that this whole issue may have been handled more appropriately. It appears that Mr. Burban has somewhat of a following, with a reputation as relatively being a "Straight Shooter" in some circles. It appears to me that whom ever made the decision to release Mr. Burban didn't consider the situation completely through before taking action. It appears difficult enough these days as a junior on the VSE, that the only credibility a company has is through its key people.
My read on the situation, from those I spoken with, is that action was extremely premature, unless the company was looking for cheap stock. But that would give credibility to zebity's last post, and as a shareholder I hope that's not the case. I must admit that this is my opinion for what it's worth, but if Barramundi is not paying attention to that, then I suspect that I may be heading for the door as a number of other shareholders are presently. I would appreciate hearing from you, as would a number of shareholders who attend SI.
Sincerely
D. Bryan |
