Jim,

First of all, there are no green house gases associated with nuclear waste and nuclear power. That is why "nuclear" is politically correct for the federal Liberal Party in terms of compliance with the Kyoto accord and why the feds are pushing nuclear power(I suspect the real reason is because they don't want to buy coal from Saskatchewan and Alberta).

Although hydro-electric reservoirs are documented as the largest C02 generators known on the planet, because they are mostly located in Quebec, it is not a political issue.
