curt dismissals are inversely proportional to IQ as a general rule of humankind. I'm not sure you could demonstrate a correlation there, but try this one: The quality of a stock is inversely proportional to the number of touts who write screeds in support of it on Wexler's thread. There's a body of empirical evidence to support that.
