About.com offering priced at $49.875 per share
NEW YORK, Oct 29 (Reuters) - Internet media company About.com Inc. (NasdaqNM:BOUT - news) said on Friday its offering of 3.5 million common shares was priced at $49.875 each.
Of the shares being offered, 3 million are being sold by the company and 500,000 are being sold by stockholders, About.com said in a statement.
The company said it would use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.
New York-based About.com's shares were down 1-5/8 at 48-3/8 in Friday afternoon trading on the Nasdaq stock market.
Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., Robertson Stephens, Volpe Brown Whelan & Co., E*Offering Corp. and DLJdirect are underwriting the offering. The underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to 525,000 additional shares to cover over-allotments. |
