Elmer, re:<I think the correct description is that Fab 16 construction has been postponed, while Dresden production has been delayed. "Postponed" implies intent as in Intel intended to postpone Fab16. "Delayed" does not imply intent as AMD did not intend to delay production of Dresden.>

First off, I don't think AMD delayed Dresden. Officially, their stand on Dresden production start has always been 1H'00. Also, about the presumed delay of Dresden Fab, how do you know it was not delayed intentionally? I could be wrong, but for me, the word "delayed" doesn't have any connotation of "no intent" or "intent" unless it specifically stated. IMHO, the postponement of Intel Fab16, and the presumed delay of Dresden have similar reasons behind them - like unneeded capacity during the period of postponement or delay.
