I know, I know, the Econ 101 people out there are going to say a stock split means nothing but a division of shares, I say BULL---T!

Must beg to differ. A stock split means nothing--Warren Buffett (1 share of Berkshire Class A costs $63,900). I find it hilarious that this is even a subject of "debate". Two types of people think stock splits are important:
1. People who don't know what a market cap is, and think a stock split is some kind of Christmas present.
2. People trying to outsmart the market, who think a split matters because the people in Category 1 think it matters.
Has Dell's latest split helped that stock?
Tiger chases tail a little bit, he gets exercise. Tiger chases tail a lot, he turns into butter. Warren Buffet became a billionaire soaking his pancakes in the butter of myopic tail-chasers.
