Coby's not here to tell me what this dream means. I was at my old college, which seems to figure prominently in many of my dreams, and fell down and when I looked I had sliced the palm of my hand right across, right along the life line so that it was like a chicken breast ready to be stuffed or something. It didn't bleed, but I could see the muscles and everything through the gap. So I went to the infirmary and they sewed it up, but first the doctor pulled the skin up and reached inside under it and pulled out little tiny shiny things. When I left all the stitches came loose and my roommate's boyfriend said, "Oh I can fix that." and started pulling on the edges of the thread so the cut was opening back and forth like a mouth, which everyone thought was very funny except me. Then he said let's see what's in here. And I said, Wait a minute, you can't do that. You're a dentist not a doctor. (which he did become) Then I woke up.
