hi kathy
i have never been to austin but have spent some time in san antonio. i felt it had a spanish-mexican feel to it with lots of people out for late suppers and like that especially along the riverwalk. even found a place on the street with a maharimba(spelling) band and dancing and beers and stuff on the street on a sat morning. i have encountered that sort of thing in the caribbean and south america. is that just san antonio or typical of a lot of texas
