I will guess...

Chalem was the actual target of the killer.
The gray car and the suitcase, will turn out to be innocent.
The killer may have used two weapons.
Chalem's schedule was well known to the killer.
Animosity is involved, not just money.
No one was questioned, just executed.
The timing of everything was arranged carefully.
The victim knew the killer.
The killing was unexpected.
The killer was expected.
A double cross is involved.
Any other witnesses, household staff etc. would have met the same fate if present at the time.
Neighbors will provide vital clues.

When will the book be out ?
