< Don't you see the causal relationship between Q's volatility and its small float? >

I see several factors behind its volatility
- small number of outstanding shares
- small float
- large proportion of float in short positions
- 10fold rise in price since Christmas
- 10fold rise in earnings since early FY98
- huge disparity of opinion regarding "inevitability" of CDMA worldwide adoption by experts
- ignorance of fund managers in "seeing" the wireless future
- ignorance of imminent wireless internet phenomenon
- ignorance of imminent handheld PC explosion
- apparent conflict of interest between handsets and chipsets
- ignorant fears of component shortages

no one factor takes all or 95% of the responsibility
we see fits & starts for new visions of the future
