re: Spoken like a true CPQ camp follower......

Have you been watching the performance of DELL around earnings? Do you care what happens this report?

Oh, I forgot - you don't actually do anything with your DELL investment, you just sit around bashing people trying to make money on this stock.

What happens around earnings could have a big impact on my DELL option positions. I might want to do some hedging based on what I think will happen.

What's your opinion? Will DELL do .18? .20? .22? .25? Why? What will the top line growth be? Will they maintain margins? Will the stock go up or down between now and earnings? Should I roll my Jan 40 puts? Should I hedge them? It's only $43K, I'm sure that's chump change for a guy like you but it's an investment I would like to protect. And if we are likely to see a rise, maybe near-term calls would be smart, leverage the rise.

But I can't figure out from your posts whether you are up or down on DELL's earnings - frankly, your input is about useless to me or other DELL investors.
