For those who follow TA, on Friday the AMD stock gapped up and in the process, broke above both the MACD line and also its trend line. Both are considered very bullish signs.

No guarantees here but AMD is signaling that it may be able to break thru the considerable congestion (noted by you)that exists between 20 and 22.
