CC--Either you are being sarcastic again, or you don't know what you are talking about. Manifest Destiny had nothing to do with a permission or right from God. It was a political ploy to steal the land from the Indians, and nothing more. Had the cavalry not had such superior fire power, you being from Texas, might be speaking Comanche or Kiowa or a number of other tribal language native to Texas. If you believe that the gift from God to have Israel for the Jews, was just a political ploy, you are barking up the wrong tree by invading this thread. TD
