In talks with Medsite.com they have said that the large majority of Medsite.com's revenue is coming Medsite Supplies and MedBookStore although they expect the new education, insurance and medical equipment leasing areas to provide a significant revenue stream.

Almost all of the online Medical sites I have explored are in the business of giving out medical information and making money of advertising. So far I still can't find any big competition against Medsite.com in the Supplies and Book areas. The education, insurance and medical equipment leasing areas are also not well covered or provided at all by other online Medical sites.

If ASA is talking about Medsite.com on their new site this will mean a significantly increased revenue stream and huge problems for any competitors. I think the large percentage of the sites that are just providing medical information and paying for it through advertising will not be around in a year.
