Do you know why the judge postpones his release of the FOF ? and why Microsoft postpone its release of the Win2k to Year 2k, Feb from NOV, 99 ? What the content of the FOF will be will depend on if the settlement under table is reached before the release of FOF . If the DOJ and MSFT can not come to a settlement agreed by both sides, the judge will postpone again , that is the reason he said some Friday, instead of a certain Friday. Once the FOF is released, a settlement will be announced , which is planed before the release of the FOF, couple of days after. It is not a good time for Microsoft to release the Win2k when the case is still going on. The best time to release the product is after the case is settled down !!!
