The sarcasm that exists on threads devoted to, or involved with short positions results from having to respond to "stock touts" who promote an issue with little regard for fundamental analysis in determining valuation. Frequently the most vocal of poor investiment issues do so strictly for their own personal gain in the belief that buying stock is a ponzzi scheme (which is truly the case with POS overvalued issues). These individuals see their responsibility as a shareholder to act as a "hawker" luring in as many unsuspecting souls as possible. If not greed then ignorance explains the motives.
