And I don't blame you one bit X! :-)

It really amazes me that that entire industry isn't moving faster to address this issue. From motherboard companies to box makers, to diskmakers, Microsoft, Intel, and on and on. Consumer motivation to upgrade is being severely hampered by the difficulty of transferring the hardrive. Of course, there are many people who will tell you how simple and easy it is. Till you have to actually do it!

If Intel lead the industry toward this goal. I would even pay a few bucks to Amazon in order to use their "1 click" name. Then launch a national advertisement campaign called "The 1 click upgrade system from Intel". Bup bup bup...

I know of no one who enjoys spending the 4+++ hours it takes to reset up your hardrive after an upgrade.
