"Is WIND a player, or can WIND become a player in this Palm-size game??" No. If the Microsoft/Philips/Compaq/Casio crowd can't penetrate the PDA market, no one else will. Considering the tens of thousands of Palm application developers, Palm OS will be the most well know OS in the post-PC era. VxWork may sell more copies than Palm OS, but it will not be as well known, because VxWorks will not be directly exposed to the average consumers.
