I've been reflecting about the various message boards on which I have posted in the past six months. It seems as though the quality of the Raging Bull message boards has deteriorated markedly over the course of this past summer. Sure, it was an ugly market. The mood and civility, however, has taken a much darker turn. I got tired of reading the insults and bitter invective. I spend little time reading the boards over there these days. It compels me to write a few lines:

To those whose penchant for insult has gone to the extreme,
Heed the lesson of the skilled fisher in the stream:
Tranquil pools yield more than troubled waters.
