NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- A look at the investment portfolios of four of the main presidential candidates, Martha Stewart's Web site and a glimpse of the future for one of Israel's emerging technology companies are among the highlights of "CBS.MarketWatch Weekend" this week.
With the U.S. presidential candidates staking their claim to the Internet economy, correspondent Stacey Tisdale takes a look at the portfolios of: four top contenders to see what they really think are good investments. These include: -- Bill Bradley, who has $1 million in Bank of America (BAC: news, msgs) stock. -- Al Gore, whose investments are mainly in real estate. --George W. Bush, whose holdings are primarily in a blind trust but include investments in blue-chip companies. -- Pat Buchanan, who holds gold and State of Virginia bonds.
Tisdale also talks to Dr. Henry Schott, who teaches a course on the psychology of investments at Harvard, to get some perspective on what the candidates' investments say about their personalities and their leadership potential.
Also, CBS.MarketWatch Editor-in-Chief Thom Calandra focuses his weekly StockWatch for television commentary on an Israeli technology company whose stock could be poised to soar.
News anchor Susan McGinnis will review this week's news, including the major changes to the components of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, and take a look at what's to come next week. |
