Hyperfeed 2000 Solution processes and delievers market data in nanoseconds. The competition is 2 to 6 seconds behind. Is that important? Yes, if you are trading out at 1/8 a point either way, it can mean big dollars. Day Traders and institutions want to know the exact price each and every time they are confirming. Hyperfeed can provide the fastest feed to the customer direct. What you middleman does with it is something else. Suggest you read the write ups on Raging Bull from Dogcatcher. He and Maimac have covered the subject very well. Incidently, I like the Hyperfeed Compression process for use in related industries. E-Commerce and B to B for information content is the big growth area for the next 5 years. (Real time data Business to Business). Hyperfeed, is bought out by one of the big boys has an assest that is immediately marketable and that will take others 2 more years to develop an equilivant product.
