For the first time in years, I am not staying at home to hand out candy to the various witches, goblins, ghouls, etc. of the neighborhood. My porch light does not work, and I am afraid they would all fall down and break their legs coming up the path in the dark.

So my nearby son & daughter-in-law are taking me to see a bizarre movie instead -- "Being John Malkovich." If it succeeds in making me laugh, I'll let you know.
