Jim: Presently I own a Celeron 466 based HP machine which suits my needs quite adequately (although I could probably use another 64 meg of DRAM. I didn't opt for a PIII as I don't do a lot of games and 3D graphics. The point is that those that need the speed will be more than happy to pay up those that don't won't until such time as it is a lot less expensive. JFD
