Walter- The Crackdown...

Hi Walter,

I am disappointed to see that the crackdown has begun without a secure internet distribution method that sites can use to replace the illegal distribution method.

I agree that the industry has every right to enforce their copyrights, but it seems like they are shooting themselves in the foot if the only place they redirect their users is to a website that sells CD's.

I would think they would let it flourish, and they would think of it as a small write off, like an R&D lab. I would think there is some valuable information and functions that illegal web sites can perform- maintaining momentum, free advertising, and incubate technological innovation.

Just my opinion.
