[Market and CG]

Louie --

Strange how these things work, the same broker who told me about the selling over the last 10 days, called this morning and said he had a big client waiting to buy at 8. After the close I got an email saying he got it. He also said he called in a favor and he thinks this person may have been buying as well. Considering how closely he was watching, I wouldn't be surprised.

As for CG, I think it's out in test quantities, but production quantities are still set for 3Q.

Now, another piece of trivia concerning InterOp. I'm told if you're a newcomer you're usually assigned a booth way out the the back forty but if someone cancels and you're next on the list for one of that dimension, you're given their space instead. Well, this time the gods are on our side. Someone cancelled and we've been given a much better space next to--- ta dah --- USRX!

Hmmmm. . . let's see here. Folks can check out 56K and then wander on over and check out 8Mbps. . . <g>

One more bit of trivia, Amati's sales guys got back from NAB and said the Nortel demonstration went super. One of our competitors couldn't even get their system up and running and had to stash it out of sight. Of course I said, "Ah shucks, why didn't they keep it up with a big 'out of order' sign on it."

After a bloody day in the market, I'm looking for silver linings, believe me.

Cheers!

Pat
