<<There are supposed to be as many as 20 billion ounces of silver in India as jewellery? >>

I estimate that no more than 35-40 billion ounces of silver have been produced since day 1. A lot of it has been consumed.

The photo biz now consume 1 billions every 4 years and most of it is not recovered and lost. This market sector alone probably consumed 7-10 billions ounces (if not more) alone in the last 50 years... no ?

You think that 20 billions in Indian Jewellery is possible ? Seems to me like a huge number.
