Ice, Mr. Dines starts with an invalid or unknowable premise:

'Not even the world's most sensitive seismograph will be
able to detect one investor who has made money following what Greenspan has said or does,'

I think Dines is plain wrong. If Greenspan bashes the
market it goes down, however briefly. Investors buying then
will make a profit when the fear and irrationality subsides.
