Thanks Tuck! I'm glad my initial impression held up to actual scrutiny (ie, you recorded exactly how much time was spent on the "short" issue). Normally, I would tend to agree that any discussion at all of a stock's short position isn't particularly relevant in a CC. But CLPA is a bit unique in that sense. CLPA has had the 5th greatest short interest increase over the last 6 months of ALL Naz issues. And a short ratio of 16.8 with 3.85 million short (as of 11/99) is a clear indicator that short interest is playing a major role in price movements. It's beginning to look clearer and clearer to me that the shorts have run out of any compelling analysis to favor their position, and are now in the "grasping at straws" stage. I wrote a bit of analysis on the short position on the RG board on a trading perspective that I think we may see come true very soon. ragingbull.com (I'm also a holder of IMCL (and PGNX), both look very good as well, btw.)
