Yup. As the killer, I would be much more concerned about any ties to the victims and all the trace evidence that had to be created in such a close range bloody mess. The organic blowback from the head shots alone would leave quite a trail if you have a clue where to look.

My version of the book would feature the "Boris" and brother characters.
