Lets clarify things.
I have no intent to "argue" with any of you. Odd that this accusation comes up only when questions are evaded. Challenging questions are not always arguements. They may make you argue if you choose to loose control. But my questions were simply intended to evoke thought.
My intent as I stated is to evoke thought and engage in discourse. Having personal experience with the darkness you enjoy, I choose to engage you. If you think you can handle it then please have at it.
The problem with most christians, some of you included, is that you fear conflict and respond in typical prerecorded fashion. Thought out responses would be interesting for a change.
Some one mentioned Christopher Columbus. What a great guy. Travels the world for god and country - or was that money and profit? Arrives in the new world and grabs the first two unsuspecting indians and makes them slaves. Spends the next few years slaughtering them all right and left. What a guy, and all in the name of christianity. You know, history is full of guys like him. In fact, if you read history, you'd find that christianity is about the most bloody religion forcing itself on the world since time began. Ole Chris, what a guy.
But then he's just being like his god isn't he? Believe like I want you to or I'll throw you in hell / burn you at a stake / disembowel you / drown you etc etc etc.
You christians aren't very good with people who don't believe like you, are you. |
