I respect that belief Kahn. If it were not for a number of other things about christians that bother me, I supose I would let it all lay. Christians have this bad habit, historically speaking, of trying to shove their religion down everyone else's throat. I really resent that. If it were simply a matter of believing and being happy with that then ok. But thats not the way it is. Belivers have to spread their belief along with its encoded racisism and bigotry. Result = slaughter after slaughter after slaughter.
There are some, myself included, who are not satisfied with just the old "Jesus loves me" mentality (no I do not mean to belittle you). I personally continued on and found the same love and compassion you speak of, but also an immense freedom not available in christianity, that encompases the world.
