It is apparent that you probably are not a native of a capitalist country. The concept of the "free market" includes the financial and market persuasion of powerful corporations. Only in rare instances, where there is overwhelming monopoly in an industry, do powerful companies simply obey a preference of a supplier. Here, AMD has offered a powerful alternative, and there are alternative chipset providers to INTC. The argument that the market has not been permitted to decide is weak.
