Mohan: I am very familiar with Christians in India. This caste system exists among Christians. In Tamil Nadu Nadar Christian won't marry a Dalit Christian. In Andhra, a Naidu christian won't marry a Dalit Christian. Christianity has not abolished the caste system in India. This is a general observation. I am sure that there are Christians who marry across caste lines. I have had family friends proudly announce to us that they are such and such Christians. I am sure that the same system exists in North India.
