Mark Z: The Island book is a joke. Its one of those things, like options & option chains, that they like to have so they can advertise it but (a) they don't support it (they'll simply point you to the Island web site for quotes rather than try to fix their problem) and (b) its worse than nothing in the sense that the data they present is reasonable but wrong. Can you elaborate on this? FYI: I have a very different standpoint: During fast markets, a functioning ISLD book is the ONLY way to have a real up-to-date insight on the actual price and buying/selling interest of a part of the Nasdaq (ISLD is a good part). Try trading on the Nasdaq Tape from whatever vendor you get the Nasdaq T/S information, and quotation. Well sometimes there are problems with island regarding availability but I believe tha quote.com will overcome that in reasonable time (for the fact that they are working really hard). Still riddled.... IS
