Yamakita-sen, will try to do so in timely manner, but please do not wait for my comments as by the time I get to the reading I may have flew a couple of sorties in and out of the share already.
Even though I some times am in Thai bonds, Indonesian shares and the like, I will not stay the long term in any Indian, Russian, Chinese, or any other emerging market securities even though they, in the aggregate, have good long term returns. I am happy with outstanding short term returns and move on.
My emerging market sorties generate returns as I wade in large steps during times of crisis, but generally I think I am motivated more by wanting some complement to my newspaper reading (own shares in the country and the newspaper stories of that locale comes alive and relevant). It truly is a game.
I am suspicious of Indian reforms as I watch my friends and clients get old dealing with the Indian government and industry in the insurance, mutual fund and television industries. Great place to travel to, especially 'Palace on Wheels' train trip. |
