Copyright 1999 The New York Times Company

This stuff is pure liberal Times (big government) pap and Malone probably didn't stand high enough in his law class to get on with Sullivan and Cromwell.

The court room proceedings were a joke with Jackson acting as prosecution coach throughout. All the theatrics of the government were almost met with applause by the judge while any points scored by MSFT were generally met with an admonishment or a remark from the bench ridiculing the point made.

Read the transcripts before you lionize the DOJ hacks. Judge Jackson was what we used to call a homer when playing an away game. MSFT was not the home team. JFD
