Hi Jay,

I'm finding your posts to be exciting reading. Really. Thanks for the cogent world view you are weaving here. Being the rather more prosaic sort myself, I've been trying to tie possible scenarios to the vision you postulate here:

An example landmark event will be when a powerful network management company merges with a powerful caching company. This will mark the union of physical and logical layers of resource management ... and create a company with a world-view large enough to envision the real future.

I am trying to envision the possible combinations here.
1)GBLX/EXDS
2)WCOM/ISLD (Sandpiper) or EXDS
3)One that is already consummated: MFNX/ABOV
4)LVLT/???

My question would be whether these are the sorts of combinations you had in mind, and if so, do you see anything on the horizon in terms of these integrations.

TIA, Ray
