hamber's comments are very similar to what McGinn said in the CNBC interview on Tuesday when he was asked directly about y2k related issues. These comments should be somewhat of a concern for the intermediate term because they insinuate that there may be a y2k effect for the next quarter.

Brian, I agree. I was totally surprised that the stock behaved like it did after Chamber's comments. Of course, this could be another instance of Cisco making cautious comments. I have also heard through the grapevine that hardware demand this quarter was a little soft. The question is, how much profit/revenue are they bringing from last quarter? I wouldn't be surprised to see a dip in the stock. But, Y2K is only going to be a problem for another two months. Then, it is back to the up-and-up!

BWDIK,
Justin
