Doug-- the handhelds are still in infancy. Since the recent PALM 7 has net access it has really taken off. Look at the differences and CE makes you puke. The biggest is yet to come,, plug it back into my PC and download into excel or word or ??? Now as a on the road assistant there is nothing better except maybe THRM. If that gets user costs in line you can throw away all laptops (I hate mine and leave it every chance I get). Just think,, a PALM or VISOR plugs into a THRM product in the hotel, finish your work, check stocks, download your handheld to the home or office PC.. Not much is needed in a handheld,, what you mentioned and (I dream) 32 mhz .....
MSFT may never catch the PALM OS,,, might be Billy's first loss,,, unless he buys 3com for a pittance ($16 bil)... that would make me happy too,,LOL!
