William Re <<Najib etc-this is THE all time dumbest ------ post I have seen in three years.Nothing special about DELL>>

100 percent disagree. You did not understand the point he was trying to make.

When Najib said there is "nothing special about DELL", he was NOT talking about stock performance.

Whether you like it or not Dell is not a box maker. Dell DOES NOT hold a technological advantage over its competitors. Dell's advantage is in its business model which is proven to be extremely effective, so far. Due to industry conditions, going forward its business model will be less of an advantage, thus pressuring margins. Last quarter Dell's net margins where 8.2%. You will not see the 8.x% margins for a while maybe ever.

As you mention DELL has been an exceptional performer due to the fact that it has continued to deliver on the earnings front. The revenue growth is slowing down and margins are under pressure. I do not expect a big dive in DELL but it is not going a lot higher until the earnings catch up with the evaluation and PE lowers a bit.

Going forward revenue growth should be around 35% with net margins around 7.5%. Phenomenal numbers for almost any other company but not good enough for all mighty Dell.
