Captain: One element of you thesis is that irrespective of rapidly improving fundamentals, whether from cost-cutting or improved margins or improved revenues, the share price will improve unusually slowly. It will be denied the recovery and growth in forward p/e that is normally associated with a turnaround situation. You claim that profit-taking from low-levels, angry shareholders and a disgusted Wall Street will cause this aberration.

Your analysis is highly subjective. Having pre-determined that you will sell at a loss and never buy back no matter how well the company performs, you assume everybody else will do the same.

A more objective analysis would suggest the contrary. While there will be normal profit-taking on the way up, all classes of investors will be attracted to improved fundamentals, all will be influenced by upward momentum, and Wall Street will be enthusiastic about any company which is performing well and offers increased future earnings. Contrary to the tenor of many of your postings, Wall Street does not hold a grudge about lost money if there is money to be made.
