Folks, In the April 97 "Wired" magazine, page 68, there's a regular piece called "Jargon Watch" which tracks the language of the digital masses. Some of you guys might like this one:

Snert: An obnoxious person (often a teenage boy) who offends or harasses other members or guests of an online chat room. Snert allegedly stands for "sexually nerdish expressively recidivistic troll."

The English language is clearly still a work in progress.
