You know I looked again at that paragraph about the IBM flip-flop:

So, June came. But what it brought with it! AMD refused to use DR DRAM this year saying that they were going to start with PC100 and then shift over to PC133. At the same time IBM announced that they were not planning to use DR DRAM in their PCs this year as well. As a result, Intel and Rambus's stocks quickly went down. And the next day an IBM representative accused the journalists of having turned everything upside-down and in reality IBM would utilize DR DRAM at least in High-End PCs.

IBM is coming out with a Rambus PC so the rep was right and the article quoting the anonymous source was wrong. I got severely whip-sawed as a result of that article so I remember that time well.

I still think the article is mostly right in its slant, but I also think it's interesting how they defend that infamous piece of FUD.
